The idea of feeding our dogs to make them less delicious to fleas is honestly kind of hilarious—like a canine culinary deterrent! Truth is, while some swear by brewer’s yeast and even (gasp) garlic, the science is still a bit wobbly. If you do experiment, definatly keep your vet in the mix and don’t ditch the proven flea meds. Personally, I love the idea of my dog being too bland for a flea’s palate, but I’m not quite ready to toss the spot-on treatments just yet! Anyone actually seen fewer fleas after diet changes, or just smellier pups?
