I’ve seen a lot of people recommend Acana Large Breed as the “gold standard” for bigger dogs, but I’m not convinced it’s all it’s cracked up to be. Has anyone actually seen a difference in their dogs’ health or joint issues since switching to Acana?
Also, Acana always talks up their “regional ingredients” and lack of by-products, but isn’t the protein content pretty high for a kibble? I’ve read that can be hard on some large breeds, especially as they age. Plus, with all the recalls and lawsuits floating around the big “premium” brands lately, how much should we really trust this one over others?
Anyone have long-term success or problems with Acana Large Breed? Or is it mostly hype? Would love to hear honest stories (good and bad), especially for giant breeds or seniors.
